Internet Safety

At Abbey CofE Infant and Nursery School we are fully committed to the safeguarding of children and take Internet Safety very seriously. With the support of parents, we proactively teach our pupils to keep themselves safe online. We aim to provide children with the knowledge and skills that they will need to safely use the internet.

E-Safety in the curriculum

Our E-Safety curriculum is taught in a variety of different ways. We explicitly teach E-Safety through our Computing curriculum, where we use Teach Computing and Project Evolve. Our Jigsaw PSHE curriculum also embeds our E-Safety Curriculum.

Support for parents

It is important for parents to take charge of young children's internet use at home in order to keep children safe. Within school, children are taught to be SMART whilst using the internet. These rules are to be used not only within school but at home as well. You can learn more about how you cann support your child to stay safe

online by following the links below.
