At Abbey we offer a Creative Curriculum that is engaging and exciting. We aim for all of our children to enjoy their learning and fulfil their potential academically, spiritually, socially and physically.
In Years 1 and 2 ( Key Stage 1) we follow the National Curriculum and plan to cover this through half-termly topics.
The Read, Write, Inc literacy programme is used throughout the school from Nursery as a highly successful scheme to teach phonics,reading and writing.
